THE BOP FOUNDATION MISSION STATEMENT:
For our youth and beyond, our goal is to provide access, insight, and resources for the pursuit
of music at every level.
THE BOP FOUNDATION PURPOSE:
Our purpose is to ensure that musicians from all walks of life have the open access and proper
resources to navigate the avenues of music whether personal or professional.
ABC is the vision of "disruptive jazz" musician and Camden native Arnetta Johnson, a proud product of Camden City public schools where she studied under the tutelage of Nasir Dickerson, Jamal Dickerson and Hassan Sabree.
Arnetta’s Band Camp (ABC) is a week long contemporary music immersion and professional development opportunity for Camden,NJ and surrounding areas youth. At ABC students will learn songs to add to their repertoire, be introduced to various career paths in music, dive into Music Finance, Business skills, performance techniques, receive mentorship from professional musicians, and MUCH MORE! Arnetta is excited to mentor young creatives with this FREE musical experience!
